Corporate Giving Opportunities and Getting Involved

You too can make a significant difference and help DC AHEC reduce health disparities in the District of Columbia by making a donation. DC AHEC is known for being a good steward of funding and there is always a need for financial support to ensure that we can continue to provide the valuable and much needed services that we do. It is the generosity of others that allows DC AHEC to continue its mission of being a bridge for the community and the health care system.

If you would like to donate you may do it securely online through Network for Good.

And of course your gift is tax deductible! Or you may mail in a donation directly to DC AHEC. Either way a letter of acknowledgement will be mailed to the donor.

In addition, if you would like to hear more about DC AHEC and the work we do or set up a time to visit our office please contact the Executive Director.

Thank you in advance for your support!

  • You Have Skills or Special Talent, We Want You!

DC AHEC seeks out anyone who is willing to share some time, talent, skill and effort to assist us in addressing the health needs of District residents. For example, we can use administrative and tech support; web design; writing, fundraising, and development skills to name a few.

  • Health Navigator Training Program

DC AHEC provides culturally competent health navigator trainings throughout the year. We are seeking anyone (of any age) who has a desire and commitment to learn and teach others about health care issues, support community health events and the like. We highly encourage those who are bi-lingual to apply. The training is free but the reward of helping others is priceless.

  • Board Membership

While DC AHEC has a wonderfully committed group of people who currently serve as board members we are seeking other talented and skilled folks who are willing to give sometime to help build and strengthen our growing organization. If you have previous board experience and/or willing to share your skill set please contact the Executive Director.
